This exhibition grew out of a course at the University of Houston that challenges students to look at three industries we all touch every single day food, beauty, and fashion and ask:

What if we designed them differently? What if waste wasn’t part of the plan?

We give students the tools to dig deeper than eco-friendly labels and surface-level fixes. They learn to design solutions that are

We don’t just teach design. We teach students to see differently.

Our Approach

Each year, student teams develop solutions aimed at reducing waste, creating sustainable alternatives, and rethinking systems of production and consumption.

Supported by VentureWell and enriched by partnerships with innovation and entrepreneurship centers, the program connects students with the expertise, resources, and mentorship needed to turn ideas into action.
